Review: Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

These lip scrubs have been around and raved about for the last four years, I bought mine in Brisbane on the first day I arrived in Australia, and to be honest, I haven't really used it much. I'm putting it down to the fact it's been practically summer for the last seven months and my lips haven't been exposed to the chill as it would have if I was back home in England.

I've been testing it out for the last week so I can write a review on it, yes it's worth the hype, yes it does what it says, and yes it does smell bloody good. But really is it worth the £5.50 price tag. I would say so, it performs well to its description and after a week my lips are chap free, smooth, plumped and I'm left with the perfect base for some gloss or lipstick almost straight after application
The packaging is great, small and compact but really are you going to whip it out in a shopping centre and start scrubbing your lips? Probably not.

The ingredients are basic, caster sugar and jojoba oil, so if you don't want to fork out on £5.50 I'm sure you'd be able to scoop out a simple recipe for this to make at home. Overall, a good product worth having in your stash incase of a rough lip emergency! I find myself getting away with using an incy wincey bit, so I can only assume it'll also last me a long time.

What are your thoughts on this scrub? Has anyone tried the mint flavour?
