Glossybox March Edition 2013!

This months 'Glossybox' is hitting all the 'City chic' buttons.. My initial reaction wasn't amazing, actually its still probably my most disappointing Glossybox, but that's not to say its not filled with fun multi-tasking essentials for travel! (which I believe is it's aim this month) because it is, just not a lot of 'WOW' and 'AHHH' going on, like I have done in my previous boxes.

Okay, as per.. the box itself is schnazzy and cute.. I actually love it! I use the box as storage compartment's in my draws, so handy! and the little book that came with it this month was nice! I had a quick skim through and it told me little things about different cities around the world! top restaurants, currency.. etc.

TRESemme Extra Hold Hairspray - 100ml

okay, this product doesn't wow me. Its something I can pop into boots and buy when needed at a reasonable price, not the kind of luxury rare branded products i'm used to seeing, so I was a little surprised when I saw it, considering a lot of people own this brand of hairspray or have done in the past. HOWEVER I recently ran out of hairspray, so I suppose considering its size and the quality of it, i'm able to pop it into my bag/clutch when i'm out and about! so yes, ideal if you want a decent travel size hairspray.

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush - Moisturising Lip Stain - Full Size

pleasantly surprised with this product, never heard of the brand.. so i'm up for giving this a go. I love moisturising lip balm types like Clinique's Chubby Stick and Revlon's Kissable Lip Stain so i'm looking forward to giving this a try (when I get round to it) one thing that put's me off is the colour, I don't really go for pale pinks, I tend to look washed out, however it is another lip product to add to my endless supply.

Nails Inc - St James - 4ml

this diddy widdy nail polish is super cute! literally! St James is in a nice bright colour of red, perfect for the upcoming summer. Happy with this product? I think so. Not raving about it, but its more than welcome in my vast growing nail polish collection.

Juicy Couture Couture La La

not impressed with this at all. The fragrance is average, for sure doesn't beat my 'Roberto Cavalli'. The mini sample it comes in, is off-putting as well.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

i've saved the best to last! Glossybox has done me proud by throwing in this little gem! I already know a bit about this product prior to receiving it, i've read reviews on other blogs and my mum also has it. So my excitement when I received it.. almost made up for the poorish products this month!! The eight hour cream works miracles on my skin, especially if I have the odd couple of break outs, also putting it on my lips helped smooth them a lot. Its in an ideal travel size to pop in your makeup bag or handbag.. or even on a flight! perfect.

okay, so overall not overly impressed. I hate being a downer on products but when you don't feel it, you just don't feel it! apart from the Elizabeth Arden and the Nails inc, the box didn't really have the oompff for me!

however, £12.95 for a monthly subscription, I look forward to it.
